The Minister of Industry and Mines, Bouchouareb Abdessalem visited yesterday the province of Ain Defla for work and visit inspection.

The minister visited El Attaf the industrial zone which is extending over 58 hectares and is located where the aluminum processing complex, with an annual production is estimated at 5,000 tons / year.
Said complex which extends over an area of 28,715 m2 has been created in partnership with a Swiss investor. Work has started since June 2010 and will be completed in December, according to the plant manager.
According to the same source, no fewer than 122 permanent positions all ranks will be created. An amount of 1.312 billion DA was cleared by Metalco-Extrusion group for the realization of said complex.

At the same area, the minister visited another complex, Maghreb Tube, specialist in the manufacture of giant steel tubes for the mainline of drinking water and irrigation and also inter-wilaya the realization of reservoirs and dams. This complex has been operational since 2013 turns with a capacity of 10 000 tons per year, while its theoretical capacity is estimated at 13 000 tons.
Following his visit, the minister criticized the total area reserved for the industrial zone. “This is an industrial area and not an activity area. »Instructions have been given to the authorities of the province to complete its extension as soon as possible.

The company BATIMETAL was the last leg of the visit of the Minister who lamented that “despite the enormous efforts made by the State for investment, more than 60% plates granted under the CALPIREF are not yet exploited by investors who have acquired. Faced with this situation which has lasted too long, he promised that measures will be taken against them so that the state recovers its land. The host of the province said that the state must revise its raw material export a copy of phosphate, since our neighbors export 8 million tons per year, while ours better, not exceed 10,000 tons. For the establishment of industrial zones, Bouchouareb said, before an audience of journalists that 31 of 49 industrial zones have recently been established throughout the country, since the problem of the legal nature of the land on which they operate was finally resolved .

On the other hand, the minister said that no product will be imported overseas, if manufactured locally, and following the directives of the President.
