Mr. Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal in Blida inspects the state-owned steel construction CR-Metal

Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal inspected on Monday as part of his working visit in Blida, the state-owned steel construction CR-Metal.

He, on this occasion, stressed the need to use new advanced technologies to develop national industry and “make it more competitive.”

Sellal has further congratulated the progress made by CR-Metal on the modernization of its production equipment.

After following a detailed discussion of the lack of industrial land in the province, he exhorted the local officials to “end this obstacle in a period not exceeding six months.”

The Blida metal construction company, a dependent (joint stock company), since 1 July 2001, the Public holding of metal construction companies, was incorporated in 2015 to holding “Emital”.

It specializes in processing and metal construction and covers an area of 75,000 m2, including 16,000 m2 of housing production workshops, 38,000 M2 as storage areas and 2,600 m2 for the party administration.

The company, which has an experience of many years in this field, provides, through its powerful technological facilities, an annual output of 15,000 tons of metal structures, 4,000 tons of boilers and various other metal products and equipment.

It currently employs 600 workers, including 400 enforcement officers, 92 supervisors and 92 executive officers.

The company received between 2012 and 2015, with an investment plan of 1 658 million DA, as part of the rehabilitation and modernization of the company’s production facilities.
