More than 540 exhibiting companies from 40 countries and 28,000 professional visitors attended the 8^th North Africa Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (NAPEC) held from 25^th until 28^th March 2018 at the Centre de Conventions in Oran.

IMETAL Group took the opportunity to participate in this unmissable event through two of its subsidiaries: ALFAPIPE and ENCC. Indeed, NAPEC is the largest international trade fair for oil and gas industry in Africa, dedicated to North African market, and devoted to the activities of suppliers of products, services and technologies that revolve around the sector of hydrocarbons.

For this sector, ALFAPIPE is specialized in the manufacture of pipelines (gas and oil pipelines), as for ENCC, it offers its services in engineering and construction of metal infrastructures as well as for the production of vats and tanks for hydrocarbons storage.
The stands of the two companies were visited by several senior managers of Algerian companies in the sector, such as SONATRACH and SONELGAZ who were present at the fair alongside the global giants as TOTAL, ANDARKO, REPSOL, STATOIL and CEPSA.

In addition to the « exhibition » side, the fair, which had for its year’s slogan « Success, Challenges and Vision », had a rich program: Several workshops and thematic conferences were hosted by national and international experts with the aim of speaking about today’s energy concerns, namely the oil market, the energy transition and new technologies in the field as well as the future of energy in North Africa and in the world meeting the major challenges to the planet.

Let us hope that this space of exchange of know-how and experience will have been the opportunity for ALFAPIPE and ENCC to be in tune with the latest global innovations in order to improve the quality of their products and services and thus win new markets nationally and internationally.
